Heather
Heather is a graduate of the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Center Physician Assistant Program.  She received her undergraduate
degree in Biology from the University of Colorado.  Heather joins the
staff at CNC after spending the first ten years of her career in Pediatric
and Adolescent Medicine.  While working with younger patients, she
spent a great deal of time counseling patients and their families about
the importance of proper nutrition and adequate exercise.  The key to
healthy kids is having positive role models as parents.  Heather is
excited to have a positive impact on the entire family by assisting all
family members to reach their weight management goals.

The most exciting aspect of being a Physician Assistant is being an
integral part of a healthcare team.  CNC lends itself to this by the
interaction between the Physician, Physician Assistant, the dieticians,
the psychotherapist and the incredibly attentive and knowledgeable
front office staff.  Education and disease prevention have always been
at the forefront of the PA mission.   It is a great opportunity to able to
work with such a motivated patient population toward improved health.

Heather has a very busy life outside of CNC.  She is the mother of
three small children (10, 8 and 3).  She and her family live in Parker
and take advantage of everything the beautiful state of Colorado has
to offer:  skiing, biking, running, soccer, swimming, and hiking to name
a few.  Like many of our busiest patients, Heather tries to balance
family, career and a healthy lifestyle.
