Mary Ellen
Mary Ellen Doukakis is a Registered Dietitian with 27 years of
experience. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado
with a BS in Dietetics and spent the first 8 years of her career at
Swedish Medical Center as both a Dietitian and Assistant Food
Services Director. Her most recent position, as a Dietitian at the
Clinical Nutrition Center, has been the most rewarding of her career. It
has allowed her to help and improve the health of patients with weight
loss, sports nutrition, diabetes, elevated cholesterol and eating
disorders. Her other related experiences over the years include
consulting with patients in various Doctors offices, and teaching
classes for the American Heart Association, Porters Hospital and Great
West.
Her hobbies include biking, racquetball, and most outdoor activities.
