May I introduce myself? My name is Michelle, but most people call me by my childhood nickname “Mickey.” I am a long time member of the CNC staff, where I was first employed as a nutritionist (since 1979)!
Since 1995, I have been employed as a psychotherapist on the CNC staff. In addition to my nutrition background, I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado. The Foundation serves as an educational resource for individuals and groups such as schools, and offers group support services for families and individuals. EDF is also a referral source for area therapists and treatment programs.
I am also a trained EMDR therapist. This technique is especially useful for treating traumatic life events such as illness, death, divorce, etc. For I am a member of The American Counseling Association and am licensed as a professional counselor in Colorado (LPC).
