How much does the medical weight loss program cost?
We believe in full transparency. Our New Patient Medical Visit is $250, which includes a 60-minute comprehensive evaluation with a medical provider and full body composition analysis. Follow-up visits for medication management and nutrition support are $99 per visit. There are no hidden membership fees or long-term contracts.
Do you accept health insurance?
Clinical Nutrition Center is an out-of-network medical clinic, meaning payment is due at the time of service. However, we provide you with a “Superbill”—a detailed medical receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. You can also use your HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) to pay for all visits.
Will my insurance cover medications like Wegovy® or Zepbound®?
This is separate from your office visit. While our clinic does not bill insurance for visits, many insurance plans do cover the cost of FDA-approved anti-obesity medications. Our staff are experts in navigating pharmacy benefits and will handle the Prior Authorization (PA) paperwork to help you get coverage for medications like Wegovy®, Zepbound®, Saxenda®, and Qsymia®.
Is the program available via Telehealth?
Yes! We offer Telehealth weight loss appointments for patients anywhere in Colorado. You can consult with our Physicians, PAs, and Dietitians from the comfort of your home. However, an initial in-person visit at our Greenwood Village clinic is highly recommended for the most accurate body composition analysis.
Do I have to buy special food or supplements?
No, you are not required to purchase any specific foods. Our Registered Dietitians focus on helping you build a healthy plan using real, grocery-store foods.
However, many patients find high-protein meal replacements helpful for convenience and structure. We offer a wide range of medical-grade protein shakes, bars, and soups. You can view our full selection at the CNC Online Store.
How do I communicate with my care team between visits?
We provide a comprehensive Patient Portal that gives you direct access to your care team. Unlike standard clinics where you have to wait on hold, our portal allows for secure direct messaging with your provider. You can use this to ask questions, request medication refills, view lab results, and manage your appointments easily.
