How is Foundayo different from Wegovy or Zepbound injections?
Foundayo is a daily pill — no injection required. It is a non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist, meaning it works like a GLP-1 but is chemically distinct from the peptide-based injectables. In the APOLLO-LD1 trial, participants lost approximately 12.4% of body weight at 36 weeks. Zepbound and Wegovy produce greater average weight loss, but require weekly injections.
What are the side effects of Foundayo?
